Who we are
Memories on Cloud ("we", "us") provides an Android application that helps you back up and enjoy your photos and videos. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we protect it.
Information we collect
- Account information: your email address and a secure password hash when you create an account.
- Your content: the photos, videos and album metadata you choose to back up.
- Device & app info: device model, OS version, app version, language, and diagnostic logs used to keep the app reliable.
- Usage data: anonymous, aggregated events (e.g. "backup started") to improve the product.
Permissions we ask for
- Photos and media: so we can back up the items you choose.
- Notifications: to let you know when a backup completes or needs attention.
- Network access: to upload and download your memories securely.
How we use your information
We use your information solely to provide, secure, and improve Memories on Cloud — for example, to back up your content, sync it across your devices, respond to support requests, and detect abuse. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your photos or videos for advertising or to train advertising models.
Where your data is stored
Your content is stored on encrypted cloud storage operated by reputable infrastructure providers. Data in transit is protected with TLS, and data at rest is encrypted using industry-standard mechanisms.
Sharing and third parties
We share data only with the service providers that make the app work (for example, cloud storage, authentication, crash reporting, and payment processing via Google Play). These providers are bound by contract to protect your data and use it only for the services they provide to us. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Data retention
We keep your account and content until you delete them. When you delete your account, we permanently delete your content within 30 days, except where we're legally required to keep records (such as for financial or fraud-prevention purposes).
Your rights
You can access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time from within the app (Settings → Account). Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA, including the right to request a copy of your data or to object to certain processing. Children
Memories on Cloud is not directed to children under 13 (or the age of digital consent in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app.
